Communicative and Prompt

Grace has been caring for our newborn overnight for the last 8 weeks and we could not be happier with her. She has a kind and caring disposition that both of my kids felt calm and happy around immediately. She was patient and good-spirited despite some tough nights with our baby, and always willing to work with me to make each night better so that my husband and I could rest. She both followed instruction well, and implemented much of her own experience into ensuring our baby was cared for and comfortable each night. Grace has been incredibly communicative and sends helpful logs each morning so that I know how our baby’s night went. She is always prompt, as well as flexible, if we ever needed her to shift her hours or stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated! She used downtime to do some light housework which was a nice extra touch that we didn’t anticipate. I would recommend Grace to anyone looking for a postpartum doula and would certainly use her again if the need arose for our family.

Professional and Warm

Grace has been caring for our son, Cooper, since he was about 2 months old, and he is now over 5 months old. From the moment she began working with us, we could see she has a genuine love for children and an intuitive understanding for their needs. Grace has always been incredibly kind and sweet with Cooper, and it is clear that he enjoys her company. We can tell that he feels safe and comfortable with her. We are particularly impressed with how she follows our routines and schedules which has been so helpful in maintaining consistency with Cooper. In addition to her care for Cooper, Grace is also very respectful of our home. She always leaves our house neat and tidy, which is something we greatly appreciate. Welcoming somebody into your home to care for your child can be daunting, but both my husband and I have always felt completely at ease with Grace. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail have made her an indispensable part of our family’s routine. We have no reservations recommending Grace to anyone seeking a compassionate and dependable doula. She has truly been a blessing to our family, and we are confident she will provide the same excellent care to others.

Positive and Upbeat

My experience with Grace was fantastic. After I gave birth, Grace was always there as a support system, always anticipating my needs. She made me meals, helped with housework, held my new daughter while I took a shower, and assisted my husband with things as needed. She also helped me with watching my daughter when I returned to working from home. She cared for her so well by taking her for walks in the baby carrier or stroller when I needed some quiet time to work, assisted with feeding pumped breast milk when I had a busy work day, and even did the dishes and cleaned the house without me ever asking or expecting it. She always had a positive, upbeat attitude and my daughter absolutely loves her to this day ( my daughter is now almost 1 and gets excited every time she sees Grace ). I can’t say enough about her and I am grateful for her services. If you are ever in need of an amazing doula at any stage of your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, Grace is the person you need.

Calming and Knowledgeable

I am delighted to recommend Grace Kovitch as a postpartum doula. Her sweet nature, care and compassion, and knowledge of newborns made her truly invaluable to our family throughout our daughter’s first four months. Her presence allowed our family to rest, recover, and truly enjoy the precious moments with our newborn. From the moment she stepped into our home, Grace provided a calming presence and a great knowledge about newborn care. She not only assisted with practical needs- such as soothing techniques, infant care, and light household tasks- but also provided the emotional support and reassurance that every new parent needs. Her warm and nurturing nature made all the difference during such a transformative time. (We knew she was a perfect fit for our family when our Doberman wouldn’t leave her side! He now waits for her every night!) Additionally, her punctuality and reliability show the level of care she possesses for her clients. I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to any family in need of postpartum support. She is an incredible resource, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her by their side during the postpartum journey.

Calm, Caring, and Compassionate

Her attentiveness and compassion were beyond compare. She answered all of mine and my daughter’s questions without judgement and with complete understanding. She was an incredible advocate, and spoke up to the doctors and nurses to make sure the birth plan was being followed. She remained calm, caring, and compassionate the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Grace to everyone I know!

Knowledgeable and Kindhearted

I was 19 years old when I found out I was pregnant. I was so scared and confused. I had no idea what to do or where to even start. A few months before my baby was born, Grace came over to sit with me and my family and we created a birth plan that worked best for my wants and needs. She gave me all the information on possible outcomes and what to expect in any situation. She cleared up any confusion I had on the well known aspects of birth. Throughout my entire pregnancy, Grace was willing to answer any questions without judgement, regardless of how ridiculous. Whether with her own knowledge or with the connections and tools she has, she never let my questions go unanswered, and we all know how bizarre a new mom’s questions can get! She was my voice when labor pains took over and I could no longer vouch for myself. She helped me physically with natural remedies we had discussed prior, throughout every step of labor! She helped keep me calm and levelheaded which resulted in a birth that went so much easier and smoother than I could have ever imagined. I am so grateful there was some as knowledgeable and kindhearted as Grace to help me bring my baby boy into this world. Having her there with me was the best decision for not only me, but for my baby too! It really does take a village, and if you want my opinion your village won’t be complete without Grace! I will confidently be directing any soon-to-be mommies Grace’s way!

Genesis Soto

Hi, my name is Grace Kovitch.

I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula, CRP and NRP certified, as well as certified in infant craniosacral therapy. I am currently enrolled in a lactation specialist program through DNT Network and am excited to use this knowledge to better support my families! I love learning and being able to implement my skills and knowledge in my work. I started out as a birth doula and absolutely loved it, but I soon realized how quickly support often disappears after a baby arrives. Too often mothers are overlooked, and that’s why I’m here, to mother the mother.

I’m passionate about helping moms feel supported, cared for, and seen because every happy home ( and society!) starts with a well-supported mom. I’ve been a postpartum doula for almost two years now, and I’ve loved every second of it. There is nothing better than seeing an anxious mom fully step into her new role, and realizing that strength was there the whole time, she just needed a little help to get there!

I am one of 7 kids, and have 7 nieces and nephews whom I adore. I grew up watching the mother/baby dyad at work, and I knew from a young age how special and important it is to nurture mom and baby as one unit. Outside of being a postpartum doula, I love weight lifting, hiking, muay Thai, scrapbooking, and spending time with my friends, family, and fiancé.

Postpartum can be hard. I’m here to help you.
